Again, I have been remiss...

Both Esther of A Catholic Mom in Hawaii and Lisa at

  2. To grandmak from grandmaJ. Thank you for the Saint's meme. That will take some deep thought, so it may be a few days before I follow up.

I'm happy that some bloggers are on a Lenten sabbatical. Maybe I can get caught up in a few weeks. It seems the faster I hurry, the slower I go.

You are still too young to know how slow we get. Oh yeah, you just think you know. Give it another 7-8 years, and you'll be saying "that old gal did really know."

  4. Thank you, Cathy, so much. \i really do appreciate your thoughfulness and support...but please don't think me ungraciousness when I ask that you nominate Justme instead.
I write poetry but Justme does something much harder- a higher calling so to speak, she studies Scripture and brings her readers an almost daily feed on the biblical passage for the day with an often entertaining take on it.
I'm not trying to do your thinking for you, Cathy, it's just I'd rather see Justme receive this award, and I know too she has many on her list whom she would take delight in nominating in due turn.
I truly am grateful foryour kindness, God bless, Ann

  6. I have to tell you all this is not an easy task. After I finished both offerings I was gratified, but somewhat "Brain-numb" (not quite brain dead). Perhaps we have new terminology here. At any rate I do love and appreciate all of you and would miss not being able to tell you so. Please have the best of days!!!

  8. Oh, wow, Cathy! Thank-you so much! This brightens my whole weekend! It is so hard passing these on, because there are sooo many wonderful blogs out there that are so deserving ~ far, far more so than I do! I'll get a chance to pass them on next week, though...
I loved reading your saints meme, too! You know, I had written I'd go to France and Italy to see the homelands of the saints we'd been most recently reading about, but I forgot about Ireland! That's the land of our ancestors!~We'd HAVE to go there to visit the home of St. Patrick and St. Brigid and St. Kevin, etc, etc...
