Matthew Kelly: Rediscovering Catholicism

I cannot tell you how excited I am that the next two days offer me an opportunity to experience the talents of Matthew Kelly. He is a wonderful speaker who can, with his enthusiasm, lift your spirits, and motivate you to be, as he says, "A better version of yourself." And so again, I will be privileged to hear his presentation tomorrow and Thursday nights here at St. John the Baptist Church!

~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!!!
  4. How wonderful!! I love how he tells of people who are afraid to go to confession because "the priest might recognize my voice." He responds with something like . . . "yeah, imagine how I feel!"
    Then, of course, he goes on to explain the sacrament in beautiful detail . . . but I chuckle EVERYTIME I hear him say that - in his VERY distinct accent! LOL
    What a great opportunity for you -- enjoy every minute and be blessed!
    Be sure to come back and tell us your thoughts and insights!
    God bless!!! I am smiling from ear to ear for ya!
  6. Haven't finished reading his Rediscovering Catholicism book, but I was so hoping that it would be a book my non church going children would read but the first few chapters would not hold those three, for sure. So it's back to prayer and more prayer.
    blessings and hugs,
  7. Cathy, that is wonderful. I heard a lot of good things about Matthew Kelly (he's Australian right?) from Fr. Grace. If you have a chance, please ask him if knows him. I believe they are friends.
