~Haiku My Heart~

It's that time of year
When she moves from floor to bed
There's no room for me!

On the floor she sleeps
When the summer heat prevails
The freedom it brings

But the cold air comes
For the middle of the bed
She gives up the floor.

~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!
Cathy
  3. This is sweet! Nice photos!
    And I guess along with hogging the bed she must keep you warm at least!
  5. Ah, Cathy,
    It looks as if we had the same idea today. What a sweet girl you have here and I don't blame her one bit for wanting to crawl in bed on a cold day! Beautiful photos of your dear furry friend! Thanks for sharing them.
  6. We are just moving into the warm days. Hoping Joseph will prefer his own cot to our bed especially when we gwt to days in the 100's.
  8. At first, the pictures didn't come in, so I had to wonder if you were writing about a cat or a dog...but now I see your sweet darling! Great haiku!!!
  10. Just a wonderful set of Haiku. It brought back memories of my Maggie who always slept in the middle of our bed. I still miss her so much. Great work.
  14. I am also a big-time dog person, although my Mollie rarely sleeps on the bed at night. She prefers the staircase bottom between the two floors--guarding me, I guess. Your doggie is beautiful and I can so identify with your post--and i love the accompanying music.
