The Joy in Tea Talk

I'm having...Good Earth decaf original tea.  I seem to be in a rut.  I'm enjoying these days the Good Earth Tea...EVERYDAY

My teacup... is the one I purchased on a shopping trip with my daughter-in-law, Kelly, when she and David lived in California.  It brings back grand memories of the aroma of strawberries and lemons.

I'm feeling... refreshed.  Yesterday, was a wonderful day.  I had a facial, had my hair cut and visited the dentist to have my teeth cleaned.  I feel like a new woman!

On my mind...This coming weekend and all it has to offer.  Friday night is Twilight on the Trail.  A gathering and fundraiser for the Newburgh Parks Department and Touch INC., a cancer outreach. There's the District Marching Band contest in Jasper,  Mass and dinner with Fr. Tim in St. Anthony, IN and Sunday the Day of Rest!

Please join Ruth at Tea Talk today.

Today I also join Meri for Share the Joy Thursday.   For I believe we need to find it in my life every day no matter the realities in which we live.  God is Good in so many ways even in times of trial.

Autumn's full glory
Anticipate the beauty
Appreciate it!

Thanks be to God!!!

  3. Hi, Cathy, Your teacup is absolutely beautiful! I love the design. I, too, usually have the same tea every morning. We are creatures of habit!

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend with all its activities!!

  5. You and your Good Earth tea! But if you love it, why stray? And the blazing leaves on that tree(maple, I think) are glorious.

I love your teacup...love that "old" time look; it's what I picked today, too, LOL! Hope you have a wonderful weekend...I think I'need a haircut and a visit to the dentist, too...that'll be just the trick to feeling all shiny and new!

    Blessings,

  9. Hi Cathy,
I'm glad to hear you just had some pampering for yourself. It surely is refreshing to give some extra love to yourself from time to time. Feeling like a "new woman" is such a blessed experience :)

    Have a beautiful weekend!

  10. Tea Talk. I've never seen this before. I like it. I like to make a ceremony out of having a cup of tea, but can never do it unless I am alone. And the facial, hair cut and dentist visit must have you shining! Very nice to share. I doubt I'll participate, but i will come visit again. I also need to join Meri on Thursdays, she is a very kind soul and her Foy idea is a good one.

    Peace to you
