The Joy in Tea Talk

I'm having...English Breakfast tea

My teacup...is a delicate beauty I found at Mother Teresa's Treasures, our church's thrift store.

I'm feeling... Excited in anticipation of the next week...should be more excited about the here-and-now but starting Saturday celebrations begin.  Saturday is the Fall play at Memorial High School and my granddaughter is student director.  Then on Wednesday we begin our Thanksgiving journey to Charlotte where we with celebrate with David, Kelly, Maddie and the boys as well as Jimmy, Kelly, and Xavier who will come from Atlanta.  (Yes, there will be two Kellys.)

On my mind...completing my Bible study lesson.  Can you tell I'm having a difficult time staying focused?

Today I also join Meri for Share the Joy Thursday.   For I believe we need to find it in my life every day no matter the realities in which we live.  God is Good in so many ways even in times of trial.

She's still blooming.

~~~^j^~~
Thanks be to God!!!
  1. So glad for our visit this AM. I love the idea of spreading the joy. And it is even easier to face the not so joyous incidents with friends in Christ such as you. Thanks for sharing.
  8. God gives us the capacity to find joy -- and it's our job to use that gift. Have a great time at the school play and your family get-together.
    I think the Lord understands we have trouble focusing when so much is going on. I hope your time with family is rich with memories.
  11. Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you're working with? I'm going to start my own blog soon
    but I'm having a difficult time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique.
    P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
