~~Tea Talk~~

But I try to steal other moments. Sometimes I get up very early in the morning and enjoy a quiet house and cup of tea before the craziness begins. Other times, I'll take a quick walk on the beach. You can find peace in a few minutes. ~Cindy Crawford

I'm having...A glass of orange juice this morning.  I haven't brewed my tea yet.

My teacup...is a clear juice glass.

I'm feeling...a wee bit tired.  Had a busy day yesterday.  Planning the Book of Wit 'n' Wisdom for my nephews wedding in June.  Shopping for the book and then contacting his sister for help!  It was so much fun to talk to Darbie!!!  She's a dear!

On my mind...is the refreshing feeling that I have nearly got everything back in order since the kitchen remodeling began.  I am also anticipating the arrival of dear little Xavier.  If he's not born today, the Dr. will induce Kelly tomorrow.  Please pray for the entire family!

Simple table set for Ron's birthday yesterday.  It was a grand day all round!

Spring Where Art Thou?

It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!  ~Mark Twain~

~~*~*~*~~

A early last week the sun was shining and Spring in all her glory was blooming.  By the end of the week is was cold and flurries were in the forecast.  In order to preserve their beauty my beautiful little tulips  have been closed again for the last week.  It's hard for me to decide which way I like them the best!  Perhaps it's not necessary to decide but to enjoy the pleasure of their company!

Spring Cleaning and Tea Talk

I'm having...blackberry tea.  Very flavorful and with a bit of Splenda quite a nice way to begin the day.

My teacup...one of my favorite dainty teacups.
I'm feeling...like sitting here is not what I should be doing, as I have committed myself to Spring Cleaning the next two days.  Spring Cleaning has taken on a whole new meaning this year.   It's more like cleaning up after a disaster.  Cleaning to get things back in order.  And believe me there is a LOT of disorder here.

On my mind...is the order in which I am to begin this endeavor.  Do I start in the bedrooms, or the Family Room.  UGH!  The living room has to be last because the dining room still has saws, and compressors and tools...(SIGH)  Oh, Cathy!  Just get started!!!

My second favorite household chore is ironing.
My first being hitting my head on the top bunk
bed until I faint.

The leaves are raked and mulched. The grass is greening. And the color of Spring is coming alive here.

St. Patrick's Day Tea Talk

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!
Irish Blessing

I'm having...Irish Breakfast Tea with a slice of warm Irish Soda Bread with melted butter.  Tis the season!

My teacup...is my St. Paddy's Day mug.

I'm feeling...a bit tired this morning.  It was a busy day yesterday and I just wanted to stay in bed a bit longer.  I'm also feeling satisfied as the kitchen is coming together and my satisfaction is only increased by the wonder of finding the kitchen table so easily.  The table was only $50 as Feather Your Nest and I had only paid $5 a chair for 4 a few weeks ago at Mother Teresa's Treasures.  I guess I do have a smidgen  the the "Luck."

On my mind...looking ahead to the weekend.  Busy!  Busy!  Going to the Fish Fry at St. Joe's in the County.  Saturday and Sunday will participate in an Enneagram class.  A number of years ago I read a book on it but was never offered the opportunity to discover my personality type.  So I will this weekend!  Really looking forward to it.
