Trek to the Biltmore

We had some more fun last weekend. We took a trip to Ashville, NC to visit Biltmore House

Grandpa and Dad get the kids
settled in the car.

Then we follow the leader.

It's a really good picture of the Clan.

The boys are off to get their hands wet in the fountain

And as we drove to the winery
we passed the garden.

Will have to return just to do the garden walk.
It was a lovely experience and a grand way
to celebrate
Father's Day!

~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!
  4. I always wanted to go there when we lived in GA . . . so close and we didn't go. Of course, now days I'd be trying the wine. Back then, I didn't appreciate wine. :) Looks like y'all had some fun!
  6. It sounds like a lovely outing with your beautiful family! I hope you have been well, Cathy! I have been starting my venture on writing my masters thesis this summer so I won't be going anywhere this year; I need to get this baby done by after Christmas so I am going to try to be wise with my time this summer. God bless and thank you for visiting with me! Anita
  7. Have you been to the Biltmore House during Christmas? My husband and I went one year (w/o the kids) and took a candlelight tour of the house...you can't imagine the lavish decorations. The tour also included dinner in their DeerPark Restaurant...delicious.
    Lovely family...looks like everyone had a lovely time.
