Thanks be to God!
Please visit Mary and The Little Red House and Lisa for Macro Monday. Their pictures are grand and so are the pictures of others!
I would also like to remind you that Wednesday is Adventure Tour Express. Be thinking about the adventure you would like to share on our journey together!
I love old photos. What a delight! Happy Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteSimply loved your mosaic ... I just love these old photos. You just wonder what life would have been like back then!
ReplyDeleteThoses are wonderful pictures, thank you for sharing them:)
ReplyDeleteOh, what wonderful old photographs. Isn't it wonderful to daydream about how it use to be? Things were slower then. I wish things would be slower now.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day,
Susan
What fun to have these pictures that must be an important part of your family legacy. I can tell how very beautiful it was.
ReplyDeleteI believe the beauty at that cabin so long ago would have come from untouched land where everything was natural; likely even the lake.
ReplyDeleteI've seen old photos of the lake we live near and it was clean and without all the motorized machines on it that we have now. Today, it is in the process of being cleaned up and is full of zebra mussels.
Oh those were the days when no jet skis would be making a racket out there on the lake. You could just sit there and enjoy the scenery.
ReplyDeleteLove the old photo's! What a time it must have been!
ReplyDeleteI love looking at vintage photos and imagining life during those times. Colorado is such a wonderful state --my son and his family live there! :)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures could of been taken at Fort Edmonton Cathy, love them. Have a great week my friend......:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteDear GrandmaK,
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful music in the background of your mosaic, it fits perfectly to it! Have a great week and thank you for passing by my blog.

Cathy, Thank you for sharing these photos. I share the sentiments of others who have commented: how wonderful it would have been to live in a time that was slower and with less machinery - and less technology! I think I was born in the wrong century! I'm sure it was indeed beautiful up at that lake when the Shaw family was there. Are they your ancestors?
ReplyDeleteI finally answered your Prayer Meme! Thanks for tagging me.
ReplyDeleteBrings back memories! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaic from the images of those days.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures Cathy - and at least they had motor cars to get there!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!!!!
