I'm a little late in starting as it has been a busy weekend here! Bu here goes.
The best thing that happened to me this week was a wonderful dinner and evening with friends. The laughter and chatter and fun.
The funniest thing I saw/heard/did this week were stories told about family antics and sharing some of my own.
The craziest thing I saw/heard/did this week was take a walk at lunch and even though the sun was out it was much colder than I thought. I was determined to finish the walk, so when I returned to work my legs were just about numb from the cold...Everything else was well covered. Silly me!
The thing I was most thankful for this week was the assistance of Roy and Laura in the work in the kitchen. They have been a blessing!
Now, it's not too late for you to join Sue at In Him We Move And Live And Have Our Being for Weekend Wrap-up!
~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!
Thank you, Cathy, for joining in at the Weekend Wrap-Up! And I bet you WERE cold - even here in North Carolina it gets a wee bit nippy at times!
ReplyDeleteRegarding your kitchen project: we remodeled ours last year. It was a mess during the process, but the results were darn well worth it. Our kitchen was a design nightmare from the 1970's - chopped up, lots of wasted space, tacky counters, awkward cupboards that were hard to get into - I even had to crawl IN to one of them to get things in and out. Literally!
Now I can find anything I need quickly, I've got tons more counter space, the cupboards are beautiful and accessible... It took me months to stop grinning like a cheshire cat every time I walked into the kitchen!
So hang tight - it will be worth it in the end!
Sounds like a good, productive week, indeed! :)
