Have waited for most of the summer for the first water lily blossom...It was well worth it.
~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!
Now please visit Mary at The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there. Lisa at Macro Monday also has much to offer. The pictures are grand.
What a beautiful 'wee ones' mosaic. It's always wonderful to look back and appreciate all those memories. I absolutely adore your waterlily. How terrific to finally see the bloom.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me what variety water lily this one is. All of mine are white with yellow centers. I have never seen a pink one like this gorgeous one, and I would love to try to buy one for the pond. Do they need full sun or can they take the 4-6 hours. I love the mosaic of your family from days past. It is so precious. What a wonderful idea to put this together. It warms the heart. Genie
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet little faces to fill in your mosaic! I can see how they would be an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteFun photo of your children when they were young.
It certainly was worth it - what a lovely shot of the water lily Cathy.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and you arranged it so nicely with the waterdrops and the duckweed around the main flower.
ReplyDeleteMine hasn't even surfaced yet. (It is in the shade).
Beautiful waterlily capture! We so enjoy them on our lake - great kayaking scenery :)
A very lovely lily. I've tried unsuccessfully to grow water lilies, so I'm a little envious!
ReplyDeleteNice mosaic too - but who knew those old colour prints would fade like that? They almost turn themselves sepia over time!
That's a great way to display family photos. How cute they were! (Bet they still are!)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photo of the water lily! It's gorgeous.
I can understand why you love seeing this beautiful watery blossom.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful mosaic of your children! I do miss my little kids now that they are grown and having little ones of their own. Your water lily is gorgeous and worth the wait. Thanks for your comment on my blog leading me to your wonderful blog. I could look at your picture of the cliffs and listen to your music for a long time! I wonder if you are still working--I also am a nurse but finding less and less my age working ...baby nurse transitioning (trying to!) to mother/baby. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteVery cute kids.
