Tea is a cup of life. ~Author Unknown
I'm having...Celestial Seasons Iced Peach Tea
My teacup...is a glass full of ice.
I'm feeling...ready for an Autumn breeze.
On my mind...kids starting back to school next week. It is so HOT here and they still have football practice and marching band practice. I'm glad i didn't have to go back to school until after Labor Day. Those "good old days."
The sunshine today is in the form of my potted marigolds!

Today I also join Meri for Share the Joy Thursday. For I believe I need to find in my life every day no matter the realities in which we live. God is Good in so many ways even in times of trial so today this is my joy!

Thanks be to God!!!

Hi, Cathy, joining you for Tea Talk. I'll be thinking about your iced tea later this hot August day! Sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteI have two sons getting ready to start another (or a new) semester of college in a few weeks. It's so hard to believe another school year is upon us. My husband was in both band and football, and he has not-so-fond memories of those August practice days--he lived in Los Angeles! I'm glad I'm done with that phase of my life. :)
I hope you have a beautiful marigold-sunshiny day!!
In Christ,
Christine
Hello Cathy,
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll have cool days ahead soon. Your iced peach teach sounds refreshing. I haven't had one for a long time now. Hmmm sounds like it's a good thing to look for at the grocery store.
Blessings to your family as kids prepare to go back to school.
Yes God is good, and so are you, enjoy joy!

Sweet joy ! Happy last bits of summer with your kids!
ReplyDeleteI used to start back to school right after Labor Day, which occasionally meant I had to start school on my birthday. No fair! I always thought birthdays should be a day off.
ReplyDeleteGod is good...this is good to remember all the time, thank you for the reminder and for sharing your joy! Blessings, Olivia
