Mosaic Monday, Macro Monday

Bittersweet October.  The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter.  ~Carol Bishop Hipps

These two quotes have touched me today.  Especially as the month of October wanes.  For my garden is not going to pass easily into winter this year.  Even though it has been left to its own resources, without the weeding and pruning, it continues to thrive in all its beauty.   It's true for me that fall is indeed, that "perfect pause between" summer and winter.

Now please visit Mary at The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there.   And though I have no "macro photo" today please visit Lisa at  Macro Monday  for she also has much to offer.  The pictures are grand.

  19. What lovely photos! These gorgeous flowers lift my heart. I sure wish we had a proper fall here in NYC, rather than summer directly into winter. I adore fall flowers, the rich colors, the gorgeous pods and seedheads... sigh, I dream of moving somewhere where I can get me some of this wonderful fall-ness someday. Blessings and have a lovely week!
