It's 102 degrees outside and if feels like 106 degrees. And today it's cooler than yesterday...Praying for rain. So thought I go back and resurrect some winter scenes. It doesn't reduce the use of the air conditioner but it does have a chilling effect...

Thanks be to God!!

The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there. And though I have nothing to offer at Macro Monday Lisa has a wonderful time planned for you. The pictures all are an inspiration!
Hi Cathy, the photo made me feel cooler. I agree it is too hot and hope we have rain here in Michigan too.

On reflection; isn't a warm, even hot, day better than freezing cold. Those beautiful photos make me shiver.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Cathy.
On reflection, I prefer a warm or hot day to a freezing one like in your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeletePosted before but comment got lost somewhere. Probably shrivelled and dried in the heat!
God bless.
We are all in a heat wave here in North America. I love your sense of humour and the snow scenes.
ReplyDeleteChillingly yours,:-}

Very cooling! Actually, my husband had the AC on so high today that going outside in the 95F felt great. I was very happy out there for about ten minutes. Yes, as hot as it is, I am glad that we won't have snow for a few more months.
ReplyDeleteOh my...you are in the 100's too??
ReplyDeleteThose winter scenes do look refreshing. We aren't suffering in heat in the great Northwest! Blessings and I do hope it cools down!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I need to remember that summer doesn't last forever!
ReplyDeleteIt's been hotter in most places than here in Florida...which is different! But I won't complain! Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteGood idea for your mosaic to help cool things down.
ReplyDeleteIt's only been in the mid-nineties here so I'm not going to complain, but your cooling Winter scenes were nice to view! 'Hope things cool off a bit for you and I hope the rains come soon too!
ReplyDeleteLove and Prayers,
Eileen
Right about now, with the soaring temps and high humidity outside my window...I would LOVE to go and just lay in the cold snow in your photos. Delicious.
ReplyDeleteMy Macro today is: Air Dried
Brrr that looks cold. Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat snow as rain would be perfect, the garden is so dry!
ReplyDeleteThose photos made me laugh! I hope it cools off for you soon!
ReplyDeleteI've been playing that game too. I think it helps. That, and a wet dish towel around my neck.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a relief!!!! I always (yes, always.. even in bleak midwinter) prefer a freezing day to a broiling one. I can wear coats; haven't figured a way yet to wear ice. Thank you for such refreshing scenes. And I LOVE your blog background also... magnificent.
