Pleases stop by and visit Karen at Sunlit Sunday and offer your bit of sunshine today.  Then visit Mosaic Monday at The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there.  You'll enjoy that, too!!!

  1. That's a great mosaic of dessert photos. At least it's warm there and the sun is shining too. Blessings, Pamela

  3. Hello dear Cathy
Wonderful desert photos - they are great images for meditating on spiritual dryness too.

  4. It's amazing to me how so much life is sustained in a dessert, such variety, hardiness and beauty in the dry climate. It just goes to show that wonderful things can be present in circumstances that appear harsh.

Thank you, Cathy for bringing a bit of Arizona to Sunlit Sunday.

    Have a lovely week,
    Karen

  9. Although we love in rural CT, an area known as "the last green valley" the sun warms all places on earth....:)JP

  10. The quote is perfect and makes one think how it can apply to many situations such as a desert in life...

  12. Hi Cathy,

Your images of this desert are beautiful. They remind me of very similar landscapes here on the island of Crete, especially when we get those nasty south winds, that make it all the way across the Libyan Sea, and bring red sand to my door step!

Love the textures and shadows in your photos!

  14. A lovely sentiment, Cathy. Although things may look dry on top, somewhere deep down, there's water. Have a good week.

  16. Nice mosaic- there is beauty in the desert, though some don't see it. Interesting to see the juxtaposition of the mosaic and your green hill (Irish?) blog background :)
    Have a great week :)

  17. Just shows how God has all things just where they should be. Bloom where you are planted is one of my favorite axioms. Great photos and so perfect for the theme. Have a great week Cathy
