Pleases stop by and visit Karen at Sunlit Sunday and offer your bit of sunshine today. Then visit Mosaic Monday at The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there. You'll enjoy that, too!!!
Today's link to Provident God.
That's a great mosaic of dessert photos. At least it's warm there and the sun is shining too. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteWhat beauty!! Even in the dessert God produces such beauty!! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Hello dear Cathy
ReplyDeleteWonderful desert photos - they are great images for meditating on spiritual dryness too.
Wishing you a Happy Sunlit Sunday!
Shane
It's amazing to me how so much life is sustained in a dessert, such variety, hardiness and beauty in the dry climate. It just goes to show that wonderful things can be present in circumstances that appear harsh.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cathy for bringing a bit of Arizona to Sunlit Sunday.
Have a lovely week,
Karen
Great pictures and some day I will visit the desert...
ReplyDeleteI love your sunny/shadowy photos of the desert.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely and the quote is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love the desert ... the sun and the shadows. Wonderful quote.
ReplyDeleteAlthough we love in rural CT, an area known as "the last green valley" the sun warms all places on earth....:)JP
ReplyDeleteThe quote is perfect and makes one think how it can apply to many situations such as a desert in life...
ReplyDeleteI see a bit of Blarney then I see a bit of desert, still it at least it is sunny more than I can say for the place we live
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy,
ReplyDeleteYour images of this desert are beautiful. They remind me of very similar landscapes here on the island of Crete, especially when we get those nasty south winds, that make it all the way across the Libyan Sea, and bring red sand to my door step!
Love the textures and shadows in your photos!

It can also surprise us when it blooms in the early summer! Enjoy your week my friend!
ReplyDeleteA lovely sentiment, Cathy. Although things may look dry on top, somewhere deep down, there's water. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI love the desert scenes and the cute puppy dog! Lovely quote, have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteNice mosaic- there is beauty in the desert, though some don't see it. Interesting to see the juxtaposition of the mosaic and your green hill (Irish?) blog background :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :)
Just shows how God has all things just where they should be. Bloom where you are planted is one of my favorite axioms. Great photos and so perfect for the theme. Have a great week Cathy
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful desert photos, a great mosaic and the quote is perfect.
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique landscape and very different from my little Island!
