It's the human tendency to name things. For many years I was fascinated by a bird that made a peculiar sound. Since I didn't know its name, I called it after the sound I heard: Drinker Bird. And then I made the marvelous discovery that the Drinker Bird was actually a Purple Martin. What a glorious day that was!
Dear Cathy, I am not familiar with this lovely pink burst of beauty! So for now, until someone tells us differently, I will take after our MMT and call it, "Pretty One." For indeed it is! Thank you!
