We were able to spend time at Antonia Plantation when my niece was married there four years ago. It's really a lovely place. The land was granted to Pierre Lebert in 1793. The plantation still belongs to the family
I'm getting ready to travel again, this time to Baton Rouge to visit with my brothers and sisters-in-law. So I'm offering a link as a preview of the trip! Have a wonderful week!

Thanks be to God!!

Hello, Sounds like a wonderful place to visit. I love the tree in the photo, beautiful. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week ahead!
ReplyDelete...it's good to have you back from your retreat. Have a great time on your new adventure.
ReplyDeleteCathy - wedding venues tend to be very photogenic, and if this tree is any indicator, that is certainly true of Antonia Plantation.

Enjoy your trip to Baton Rouge.
I attempted to fix the link to Antonia Plantation. Let me know if it works for you now. It works on my computer but I don't know if it does because it's my computer. Thanks! Have a grand week!
