The thaw has begun and with the rain we've
had the river is at flood stage.
The walk to the river.
When the Ohio is up the steps to the river are gone. This will return!
The barges seem so much closer and the ducks have free reign. The park is under water. so the ducks even seem closer. For what it's worth I am really glad I live here on the Ohio.

Thanks be to God!!

Ohio is an amazing place to live. Catchy views and beautiful sights make it more alluring to visit Ohio.
ReplyDeleteCathy stay safe! We are keeping an eye on the river as well. The creek that comes off the river run through our property, of course it has overflowed the banks.

Beautiful river shots. It sure is high The steps are just hiding! I also really enjoy being close enough to walk along the river, though ours isn’t as major as yours (it flows to the Columbia, which is the major river in this part of our country).
