Bad Haiku Friday

The holiday's here
Boxes are everywhere
Now who will wrap them?

I do love to wrap Christmas gifts. But I like to take my time. This year I am under the wire. Next weekend is wedding day for Jimmy and Kelly and 2/5 of the family's gifts have to be wrapped so we can deliver them at that time. Whew! I had better get started!!! This weekend is now designated as "Wrapping Weekend!"

Have a grand weekend!!!

  3. Cathy, I have been over here several times and I am in a bad habit of now reading a post and not commenting then forgetting that I have not commented.

So great that you love to wrap and so sad that you are so rushed...it seems we creep into November and then whoosh as we speed into December.

    blessings and hugs,

  4. We've gotten a lot done, but I'm still getting that nervous "I have to get everything done!" feeling.

Not many gifts to wrap this year, thank goodness! We've been doing a Secret Santa with both my family & Ray's together so it's just one personal gift to think of to shop for and then to wrap.
And we told the kids this year we are only concentrating on the grandkids for Christmas and we told them to do the same! It really does make Christmas that much more special, and so much easier to concentrate on the True Meaning of it all!

    Enjoy!
    All the best to you,
    Eileen

  6. wrapping gifts is one of my very favorite things to do...each year i get new wrapping paper, coordinating ribbons, and little trinkets to put on top.

one of my very ideas: plain brown paper embellished with a beautiful fabric ribbon.

    happy wrapping!

  7. I haven't decided how to wrap my gifts this year....should I hunt for boxes or just stick a bow on the ornament and call it good??

    decisions decisions....

  9. A little hot chocolate, a fire in the fireplace, some Christmas music, and a weekend of wrapping. Sounds pretty wonderful to me! (and maybe a little snow too?) :)

  10. Deare, dear Cathy!!! It is so nice to see you! Oh, I can identify with the pressure of getting those gifts sent out! Between my work, my last class for my masters, my thesis and such, I am fatigued! But, the holidays have been bringing such joy. Thank you for coming by for a visit dear lady. God bless, Anita
