I'm having...my favorite Good Earth Tea. It's a cloudy dreary morning, with snow in the forecast.
My teacup...is my Norman Rockwell Christmas mug. Probably one of the last times I will use it until next Christmas.
I'm feeling...a bit anxious as one does when they are beginning a grand adventure with all the twists and turns, hills and valleys it will surely have.
On my mind...taking down and putting away Christmas decoration. Will begin the process Saturday. And them beginning to empty all the cabinets in the kitchen in preparation for its remodeling. Oh what a chore that will be!!
Christmas Day in Newaburgh on the Ohio, 2010
We had a wonderful walk with Jimmy and Kelly.
Has become a tradition when they come to visit
Now won't you join me and visit Ruth at Celebrate Friendship is hosting Tea Talk at her house? Share a cup of tea or a cool refreshing drink with us.
Adventures can be a little scary but so exciting as well. Thank you for your kind comments about my daughter. I think she is beautiful as well:)
ReplyDeleteI will be putting Christmas away tomorrow...big job!
Kitchen remodeling sounds an exciting chore to do for the new year.
ReplyDeleteI put away my Christmas decors right after the New Year's day. I usually do it on the 2nd week of January but I just got too excited to start putting up spring decors.
Thank you for sharing that beautiful photo. Loved your quote as well. Have a grand day, Cathy.
I will join you for tea for sure. We are anticipating another burst of snow. They say about 3 inches. Looking forward to your remodeling photos. No big changes foreseen in this household. One never knows. Gonna get the old colonoscopy out of the way and I will be set.

ReplyDeleteCathy, What a beautiful view! Sigh. :)
ReplyDeleteWe gutted our kitchen, so I know what it's like to leave in upheaval. I think it took about 5-6 weeks to get a kitchen back. Life was interesting there for a while. But it's beautiful now, and I love creating in my kitchen. Bless you in your own adventure!
Christine :)
