Lord Frederic is one of two frogs who inhabit our wee pond. Goodness but they have a big job. He and his minion, Godfrey,(we haven't been able to get them to pose together for us) have been doing a fine job of maintaining the kingdom. The mosquitoes seem to be in check and the serenading each evening is so comforting. So the goldfish are thriving, the frogs are leaping and swimming, and all's right in their little kingdom.

Thanks be to God!
Now please visit Mary at The Little Red House and share in the beauty offered there. Lisa at Macro Monday also has much to offer. The pictures are grand.
Remember the Adventure Tour Express will be running again this Wednesday, 6/15/2011 I will be happy to be the tour guide for all who wish to share their adventures. The train is running each Wednesday during the summer. Any and all adventures are welcome, from the weekend jaunt, a day at the park, to the wonderful vacation adventure! Please come and join the fun!
Welcome Aboard!!!
I go to sleep each night to the music of the frog orchestra in the front pond. We rarely see the frogs - they're very shy - but we know they are there by the music!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need a frog! We have the worst mosquitoes this year. We were told that it was a problem with the bats because winter was so long and spring so late that many died. Now I'm hearing that conditions have been just perfect for mosquitoes. Ugh. Frederic is a pretty handsome fellow for a frog.
ReplyDeleteI love frogs and Frederic certainly looks like he is the Lord of the Pond (does he dance?!!!!) :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Frederic looks very regal in his mosaic. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute face Frederic has! I hope he eats all the mosquitos in your pond!
ReplyDeleteThe frogs in my back garden are brown, not green. I don't have a pond and they hide amongst the bushes and plants. Never heard them sing either ... perhaps they spend their time reading books instead. Readit ... Readit ... Readit ...
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Great mosaic and Lord Fredric is cute. I just love the sound of the frogs at my pond. Wonderful mosaic, I hope you have a great week!
