Miner and his mule
In search of silver and gold
Hoping for riches
Seeking adventure
Looking for prosperity
But often found none.
Soon value is found
Finding what is real and true
Loyalty and friendship.
The miner and his mule are Stinky and Bernadine. They are a reminder of the exciting past Virginia City once had. A delightful man with a wonderful sense of humor and tales to tell.
~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!
Beautiful photos, beautiful words. A peaceful setting. Makes me wonder how life was mining, or just living with your mules while plying that particular trade. I know I didn't spend enough time out west. I'll need to return sooner than expected.
