this is pure JOY!! all winter i have been knitting hats to be offered to those who find themselves without shelter or home. all the yarn is donated and although a small gesture of care, there is a shared comfort. may we all feel loved, may we all the sweetness of unexpected kindness.
True elation! I hope we get to see what you create with these treasures! Your gift is a gift to us with your photo, haiku, and your joy Cathy! Thank you!
OHMY, those colors are gorgeous! I just finished knitting a cardigan for a friend, it was (is) indeed a pleasure to knit (or crochet, which I think I prefer...) Enjoy the yarn. Love from the Netherlands!
I would be happy to receive yarn as a gift. I enjoy doing loom knitting. I am an inept clod and my fingers get tied around each other when I try to do the regular kind.
I never got the hang of knitting even though my mother taught me the badjcs knkt and purl. But oh the crochet i excel there. My 2 brag about pieces fod 2019 were a table cloth wedding gift for a young couple, and a Christmas angel tree ornament for my granddaughter
I don’t knit, but have always thought a basket of yarn in all its wonderful colors is beautiful. Maybe by a fireplace, with a kitty curled up beside it? In a cottage by the ocean? (If I had that imaginary cottage, I guess I would have to learn to knit )my
❤️
