Beauty In Pink

We've lived here for nine years now and every spring this lovely tree blooms.  It's kind of funny.  Before it blooms it looks half dead and I wonder (every Spring) if, indeed, it is dead.  And then near the end of April she blooms.  The thing is, I have no idea what the name of the this tree/bush is and would love to know that.  Please help me.

~~~~~~~~
I do love this beauty.  I just wish she had a name.
 ~~~^j^~~~
Thanks be to God!

  3. Cathy. There's a google app that will help you to identify plants. Just take a picture with your phone. Google does the rest - I believe!

  4. Thank you for the lovely visit to my blog and for the beautiful words you wrote in your comments!
    The amazing plant in your mosaic belongs to the family of the Rhododendron, I have a bush of it in a large vat; it has purple flowers which are going to bloom in late Spring.
    Enjoy your day and the remainder of your week
