HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We'll be traveling to Charlotte, NC next week to share the love, joy and presence of the Creator and give thanks for all the treasures that abound in our lives with kids and grandkids.  Take time to reflect on the treasures you have been granted.  Mine are to-many-to-count!!!

I want to dedicate this post to Spadoman Joe.  He is a delight.  I treasure his visits each Friday.  Praying that the Spirit of healing will descend upon him and offer peace, tranquility and love knowing that family and friends have a treasure in him.

The Joy in Tea Talk

I'm having...English Breakfast tea

My teacup...is a delicate beauty I found at Mother Teresa's Treasures, our church's thrift store.

I'm feeling... Excited in anticipation of the next week...should be more excited about the here-and-now but starting Saturday celebrations begin.  Saturday is the Fall play at Memorial High School and my granddaughter is student director.  Then on Wednesday we begin our Thanksgiving journey to Charlotte where we with celebrate with David, Kelly, Maddie and the boys as well as Jimmy, Kelly, and Xavier who will come from Atlanta.  (Yes, there will be two Kellys.)

On my mind...completing my Bible study lesson.  Can you tell I'm having a difficult time staying focused?

This picture is from a restaurant in Rapid City, SD.  We often eat there when we travel to visit Mom in Billings.  The old firehouse gets to show off its past while allowing us to enjoy the present.  I recommend it highly!

 So today let's play again. Go through old pictures and join in the fun. Rest and relax in the knowledge that you can play and know one in this neighborhood will object.

I'm having...Hot Chocolate on this morning after a full moon.

My teacup...is nothing special but it certainly holds the hot chocolate well!


I'm feeling... embarrassed still...I missed a luncheon date yesterday with a dear friend and I have to excuse except that I was so absorbed in what I was doing that I didn't even check the time.  What is truly embarrassing is that I didn't realize it until 4:00 p.m.

On my mind...making sure I am checking my calendar 1st think in the morning so that what happened yesterday doesn't happen again!!!!!!  This lady is a dear friend and that is what makes it so painful!
