Spring Progresses~~Mosaic Monday~~
It's been a rainy weekend. Not much to see but the trees, the birds and plants all dealing with the elements. Still a beautiful sight!
Please visit Mary and The Little Red House. Her pictures are grand and so are the pictures of others!

Before and After...
I did it!!!!!!!
It took a couple of days and commitment and the avoidance of distraction but I did it!!! I cleaned up the office and my space...The hard part was the avoidance of distraction. That is what has taken me so long to clean the office in the first place. I'd find something and get side-tracked. Start reading something and poof the time was gone. BUT not this time...NO!!! I DID IT! Now how long it will last I cannot tell.
BEFORE
AFTER
Felt like a little Carly Simon music today...Hope you enjoy!

Picture Puzzle Day
Do you have time to play today? If you do please take some time to rest here and put together the puzzle. I'm offering you some quiet space in which you can play and not be expected to do anything but enjoy your time here. There are no calculations to be done here or any serious concerns to be addressed. No bookkeeping or bills to pay. Just stay and play! And when you're finished with mine, wander over to the side bar and enjoy the Winter Berries.
Backyard Spring
Please join the fun and offer us one of your pictures so we can play along. Please leave a comment and then link us to your Picture Puzzle Day. Thank you!!!!!Monday, March 23, 2009
The Simple Women's Daybook
Today I have off because of it's spring break here. I took the time off so I could do some spring cleaning. Well, you can see where I am...Honest!!! I will begin as soon as I post this little bit of Monday. So after you have stopped by here please visit Peggy at The Simple Women's Daybook.
~*~
1. Outside my window...Sam is meowing, letting me know that he'd like to come in.
2. I'm thinking...this is the first time I have ever done this later than 5:00 a.m.
3. I'm thankful for...having spent a wonderful weekend at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in retreat.
4. I'm wearing...Sweater, pants and warm socks.
5. From the Kitchen...Baked macaroni and cheese with smoky links, broccoli and fruit.
6. I am creating...Still working on the counted x-stitch. Are you as tired of hearing about this as I am about telling you about it? It was purchased as a kit in England and now there is not enough thread. I'm now on-line comparing Anchor and DMC threads.
7. I am reading...The Sadness of Christ by Thomas More.
8 . I'm hoping...to rest in the memory of the retreat.
9. I am hearing...Birds chirping outside.
10. Around the house...The crocus, daffodils, and tulips are starting to bloom
11. Few plans for the rest of the week...Enjoy time off, resting and enjoying the quiet.
12. One of my favorite things is...gather pictures and make them into photo books. Since I had trouble with "Simon" during the holidays I haven't gotten those pictures done yet.
13. Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

The Simple Women's Daybook
It's been so long since I've done this I"m not sure how this will turn out...It requires some thought and reflection on what my week may be. so to begin.
After you visit here please visit Peggy at The Simple Woman and journey along the path of life we all share.
1. Outside my window...it's dark again. Last week the sun was rising, but today its will be coming up as I start for work.
2. I'm thinking...this week should be less demanding as I have fewer meeting to attend and less projects that require immediate attention.
3. I'm thankful for...having spent quality time with David and the rest of the Charlotte Kellers via the webcam. It's finally up and running again.
4. I'm wearing... robe and slippers.
5. From the Kitchen...Will come Tuna Helper, green beans and fruit for desert. Lent is a good time for reflecting on being satisfied. I need to remind myself the being full is not comfortable, but being satisfied is.
6. I am creating...the work of counted x-stitch Laura gave me to make for her birthday 3 yrs ago. I'm embarrassed! I think it's one I would not have chosen and it's hard to finish...But her birthday is in May and I am determined to finish it!
7. I am reading...Mother Theodore Guerin A Women for All Time by Penny Blaker Mitchell
8 . I'm hoping...we will have the opportunity to travel to INDY to see our granddaughter Kellie perform with her Winter Guard Unit from Memorial High School.
9. I am hearing...Duchess snoring. She is asleep on the floor next to my feet.
10. Around the house...It's decorated for St. Patrick's Day. Sure and won't that be a grand time.
11. Few plans for the rest of the week...Grouping with my Cursillo friends, baking some MORE Irish Soda Bread, preparing to spend time with family this weekend.
12. One of my favorite things is...Watching old Charlie Chan movies. Had time to do that this last weekend as I worked on the x-stitch. It was most relaxing.
13. Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
