Clouds are a wonder

Tender blanket of our earth

Heaven come to earth

It's good to reflect on the glory of the sky and the clouds that often surround us.  More often than not they cover the sun and keep us without the warmth the sun offers.  But they are sculpted by the angels to keep us from becoming complacent and taking them for granted.

Beauty in its perfection

Today is one of those days when the chill outdoors causes one to reflect on the beauty of Spring.  The rose is one of my favorite flowers.  Though Spring is some time off.  I thank God for cameras and the photos they take.  Just another gift for which I am grateful!

 The glory in gold

From the Creator's palate

Brightens up our day

Fall at The Woods is glorious.  The trees and the campus are just so beautiful and inspiring.  For 177 years the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mahy-of-the-Woods have tended and cared for these treasures.  The environment and the care of God's creation has always been important to the sisters.

Football Fans

Odd football season

Different kind of excitement

But we're all still fans

I feel I have to explain this haiku.  I've lived in Indiana now for 40 years, but every fall football season has brought me to a realization that I have  a loyalty to my home state of Colorado and those Broncos.  It keeps me rooted in the Rockies and I can again get a "rocky mountain high!"
